Danny Howells opened with him and Dave Seaman doing 30 minute stints for 3 hours. They built it up pretty quick, which is understandable as The Box is only open for 6 hours. The first three hours were excellent. Nick Warren did 90 minutes, which was good, but he brought the tempo down a bit. Jimmy Van M closed which was excellent. He never put it up to the level Howells and Seaman did, but he played some wicked tunes. Me and my mates had VIP access. We never went in the VIP lounge once. I only left the dance floor once and that was to get a bottle of water. It was a brilliant night.Comment

How was Nick's mixing?? We don't have nights like that here anymore
Both Sydney and Brisbane have lock out laws and much earlier closing now, it's just not viable for Djs to come here for one city only. I really miss it
I had VIP at Moonpark. People looked at me really strangely when I asked if anyone was coming down to the dancefloor
Only time I went back was for the toilets. Hoff found me on the dancefloor

Most VIP lounges are set away from the main rooms, so you can't hear the music. It always amazes me how many people stay in them all night.Comment

Funnily enough I ran into him on the dance floor, he missed the opportunity to run shoulders with Warren, Seaman and Van M, because he would not leave the dance floor. LOL
Oddly enough I also saw Zover behind the decks in The Box at the beginning of the night. WTF was going on there?Comment

"ALSO!!! Thank you to an amazing man called Chris who has spent the last few months taking every single mix tape I've ever done, every cd, radio mix, home mix, every online mix etc etc and put them all on one hard drive. Not only that but with original flyer artwork (a lot of which I'd never seen), relevant pictures, interviews etc etc. Literally my entire DJ career in a hard drive. Some really intense and intricate work, I cannot thank him enough for this.
All I need to work on now is how to get some of this to you as I'm basically banned from Soundcloud, Hearthis and Youtube, and don't like Mixcloud because of the no-download option.
But regardless, I will and again, thank you for the incredible work."
