Things to do with your IPOD

    Disguise it as breath mints
The iPod shuffle is so small that it fits nicely within a case of Altoids. Punch a hole in the top for your headphones, and people watching you listen to an Altoids tin will think there's something curiously wrong with you.

    Murder Someone
HeadlinedNews.com recently reported that "Memphis woman was arrested and charged with first-degree murder after she bludgeoned her boyfriend to death with an iPod" but was later revealed to be a hoax. Still, the 60GB iPod Photo is a hefty chunk of metal...

Damn I want my money back there was only 44 things to do with your Ipod.
To err is human... To correct it before anyone notices is genius.

Make your own pirate radio station. Expose the antenna on your iTrip FM transmitter and you broadcast your iPod's music library to any radio a short distance away. Might be useful for me here in Toronto when sitting at a traffic light and someone pulls up blaring Tony Monaco on Z103 or FlowFM Hip Hop from their suped up wannabe pimpmobile.

They showed how to do that on the Screen Savers on G4tv, a while back. I thought it would be very funny to go around doing that. Especially when you hear someone playing lean back on thier boomin system. How about a little Digweed for that system there guy...how you like'n that!!

I bought the newest "color" U2 photo Ipod... nothing has gone wrong yet. We have a 2nd. generation 10 gig, a last generation 30 gig photo, and the latest 20 gig photo. They always worked fine.

Is there a way to keep the backlight lit for a longer period of time.

Why would you want to come here and ask that questoin? Have you been to the apple's site and looked around, have you asked friends. This might help. But please do a search next time.

Ha, I see where this is going...this thread was already about IPOD. That is why I asked, and I did do search, and could not find anything about the backlight staying on longer then 30 sec. Even the manual doesn't say anything about it.

                            more ipod uses:
                            portable mirror
                            bookend (require 2 ipods)
                            door jam
                            coaster
foot stool for items 1/2 inch out of reach
tire wedge to prevent car from rolling down hill should e brake fail
                            skipping stone
                            Beats are my crack.

Relive the good old Walkman days
If you pull the guts out of an old Sony Walkman, you can stow your iPod in there and wear it around pretending it's 1987 all over again. Hipster chic!
