      That's the spirit!!!

Man, the whole last half of my brother's street pitched in to buy fireworks and food to cook out. I'm at work right now (don't pity me, I'm making $32.50 an hour right now ) but damn if I ain't runnin' my ass over there as soon as I get off. Say what you want about America, but give us a reason to throw a party and we will rise to the occasion.

You can't have manslaughter without laughter.

"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."

Drank a bunch of beer at a buddy's house, came home a few hours later, then took my roommate to my company where I grabbed my master key to get onto the roof of the 6-story building. Proceeded to watch every fireworks show in the Kansas City horizon at a 360-degree view... it was amazing. never seen that many fireworks in my life. definitely the best show I've had yet on a 4th

A tractor pull??? Man if you don't know it...that is some hella fun!!! Woooooooooo!!!!

But seriously...I went over to my brother's and saw a 360 panoramic firework show of my own. Every street for half a mile in every direction was setting off insane amounts of fireworks. This was definitely one of my better 4th of Julys ever. Happy birthday Independence!!!!!

So how was everyone's 4th? I probably did what everyone else did. Got drunk and watched some fireworks.
