Jean F. Cochois is one of the top producers within the german house scene. Under various pseudonyms, the best known is ?The Timewriter?, he has released 12inches and artist albums on such renowned german labels like Mole Listening Pearls, Elektrolux and of course Plastic City. Furthermore he had several apperances on american labels like Driftwood, Fiji and Wave Music. As remixer he was much requested by the likes of Mike Oldfield, Faithless, Yello, Boy George, Kool & the Gang, Frankie Knuckles and Rammstein. His own style of producing can be characterised by his dense and atmospheric sound, which based on sophisticated musicality and thoughtful profundity and which goes far beyond dancefloors and mere entertainment.
