We will most likely never see end to Jihadists or terror in our lifetime.

It is very sad these people give their souls for such a worthless cause.

Sad, but true. I'm not a fatalist at heart, but seriously, what could make all of this stop. These terrosist fuckers will never stop until what ever fucked up goal they want to accomplish is accomplished. The rest of the sane free world will never give up trying to stop them. It will be a reoccuring cycle from now until the end of time or until Iran or North Korea gives them a nuke...then we're all fucked.

My heart goes out to those all across Great Britain. Rest assured that we are going to do our part to fight back against these terrorists by going ahead with our planned honeymoon. We fly into London next Tuesday and will surely enjoy every second of our time there.

You can't have manslaughter without laughter.

"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."

Really sad day here in Britain  Even though it's been a possibility for a long time it's still really shocking when it does happen

My heart goes out to all those affected by todays tragic events.

Re: This is sad (Bombs in London)

i reckon the bombs were planted by our own government to take the focus off having to drop the 90 billion pounds of debt from third world countries.

see, if geldoff and co. continue with the "dropping the debt" shit, how bad will they look? Focus (and pressure) is now well and truly off the whole debt issue, and is now (sigh, again) focused on terrorism, a superb military and economical tactic perfected by our friends on the other side of the ocean.

When the heats gets a bit too much, blow up some stuff. Blame it on the middle east.

a few bombs, a few lives, a great way to save a few billion.

Does no one else see a pattern emerging here?

Re: This is sad (Bombs in London)

A really really sad day - particularly given the years of peace since the IRA came to its sense and ran down its operation.

The problem with terrorism is that its indescriminate and has a complete disregard for human life ... its evil is boundless. There is so little to be served or gained by it.

I suppose all London can di is to take a leaf of of NYC's book - you have to soldier on with your way of life and not give in to the fuckers.

My deepest thoughts and sympathies go out to all Londoners. I can't believe there are people this messed up in the world. The sad thing is that many politicians/experts keep saying they were expecting this to happen at one point or another. I remember the anti-terrorism drills in the underground when I lived there for 4 months, but how prepared can any city be for an attack like this? I only pray that this horrible activity stops soon, although that doesn't look to be the case.

it's kinda weird on my front that this happened today. As I went to the library today I found out my copy of 25th hour was in. I wanted to watch it badly. Then I get home to find out this happened over there. I put in the dvd and looking through the menu, there is a spot where the cinematographers filmed the wreckage from 911, it had such powerful visuals of the trucks going up and down the road and all those people in the snow trying to clean it all up. This all with some extremely powerful music that made me almost break down and cry over all this happening. I really am sorry that this had to happen over in the UK. Hopefully this will make the governments of the rest of europe and here to make their screenings a bit more extensive.

Keep an eye to the sky!
