EDM, that's pretty much all house music.

You cant change her mind, She has to discover this kind of music by her own,
you can show a couple of djs, perhaps, she will take some tips or music from others djs.
She cant go from the EDM to "our music" from one day to another,
it could take month or years for her to find something interesting.

I hate saying bad music, because there really isn't any such thing, except train wrecks or miss matched beats etc. I really don't like what they are calling EDM at the moment but a couple of years ago EDM mean our music as well.

Actually there is one cd I always play for people as an introduction and that is Danny Howells Renaissance the Mix Collection , it's really accessible .

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

              Always a good listen!

Good feedback and thanks! I think I might have to just let this one go. When I gave my suggestions, she'd come back with wanting me to listen to her favorite Skrillex tracks and I feigned to be opened minded and listened but I knew I'd never like them. Actually, she doesn't mind Digweed but it's just not her first choice when it comes to dance music. EDM is by default her number 1. So it goes both ways...
