And Vision... these are all places you should be looking. I used to have a handful of websites that would help, give me a day and I can peruse my favorites. What music is your friend into??? Chicago has everything depending what day of the week.

I found Oakenfold's playing at Vision on Saturday, and he sounded all about that.. unless I can find any other big talent, it looks like he's going for to it. He likes progressive & trance

I saw Mousse T there a few years back. It was average as far as price was concerned, I think $15. I was crazy though, they had bondage racks set up everywhere. A friend paid to get strapped up, and these two dominatrix whipped him with leather whips and pinched his nipples until they turned bright ass red. Funny as hell and freaky at the same time. Two blocks down is the crazy horse too. Could make for a wild night.

Crobar sucks though. I'd advise your friend not to go. It's a "pretty" club but people are all glammed out and not at all there for the music. Go to Vision or Smart Bar or Sound Bar (Zabiela tonight).

Poor Crobar. It use to be so good.

Chicago isn't the kind of place that screams WHAT AN AMAZING CLUB SCENE!....but if you're there long enough and know the particulars it's beautiful underground vibe comes to life. Viva Chicago!!!!

Do people still bribe doormen to get into parties? With security in the modern day and age we live in, there is never less than 2 bouncers if not several more at the door at big clubs, (assuming that there is only one designated person doing the "velvet rope" amongst this group, that one person is somewhat on display, so how would one use this as an advantage without being that guy who had to pay to get in to pay? I think maybe the bribe has evolved into table service and you are bribing the club itself sort of, like, call me VIP and I'll pay $300 for a $15 dollar bottle of Absolut and keep bringing the ice to me while I sit instead of dance.... I pray that there aren't many if any of these guys on this board, and if there are, just give me a buck and I'll get you in the door by letting you pretend to be friends with me Deal?
