Oh dude, I completely agree - the status quo in Washington has to change - this election highlighted the worst parts of how politics are run in your country - it's no longer who's the best and the brightest that wish to serve their country, it's greed, entitlement and a hunger for power and an eagerness to abuse it (on both sides - what occurred to Bernie Sanders at the hands of his own party was disgraceful). There's way too much corporate interest involved in the politics and puts their demands before the people, regardless of the damage they do to the environment, the citizens affected or anything else.
There's tons of people that don't feel like their being heard, and in a lot of cases, quite rightly so. However, what occurred here is more "burn the system down" or a self inflicted wound.

I love the Guardian.!! It's doing a stunning job here at the moment re our government trying to pay off their their huge deficit by targeting welfare recipients. They back up their articles with links.
