Mastering is so important. !! It was one of the things that made the last Hernan Balance less than perfect for me.

One of the reasons I love CDs is the cover notes , you know who does the mastering.

Ok.. tomorrow i´ll give disc 1 a go.

Disc 2:

I do like this music at first listen but none of the tracks / phase is especially remarkable or memorable, imo.. that is something never happened before @ Hernan comps.. I´ll give of course a bunch of listens but this comp wont probably be a fav one.

Maybe high expectatives are tricky.

Ok, listened to both, CD 2 , I would love if it was a stand alone CD, some of my favourite tracks are there, but as a whole for me it is totally eclipsed by CD 1 . It is something else again. CD 1 for me is mind blowing. The reason I took so long to review is because I wanted to review it all and every time I went to play cd2 I ended up playing cd1 instead. This to me is the music I have watched develop over tmay years since my first introduction to electronic music. I just love where it now. It's all grown up !! Maybe not meant to be the dance cd but it is really beautiful to move to.
