Republicans giving power to the terrorists

This is absolutely unbelievable. Here is an amendment that Senator Frist offered today in the senate:

"Any federal officeholder who makes reference to a classified Federal Bureau of Investigation report on the floor of the United States Senate, or any federal officeholder that makes a statement based on a FBI agent's comments which is used as propaganda by terrorist organizations thereby putting our servicemen and women at risk, shall not be permitted access to such information or to hold a security clearance for access to such information."

So now the republicans want to make a federal officeholders security clearance hinge on what the terrorists do. Simply unbelievable. Now all a terrorist would have to do is find a statement within this amendment, use it as propaganda and ***poof*** an officeholder's security clearance would be gone.

Obviously this is targeted at Durbin, but it has to be the most ridiculous piece of legislation that I have seen...well...ever. Which means I'm sure Rob will think that this is greatest thing since sliced bread.

more proof that government doesnt work and we should disband it all. no need for social policy or protection. let natural selction and man's love of guns and violence take care of those topics. no more taxes, just let everyone who has a car chip in to maintian the roads.

You can't have manslaughter without laughter.

"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."

no we dont need a revolution or change. we need no gov't. small local police forces will do. im sick of my money being spent on people who would otherwise not make it past natural selection. welfare is the bane of society. it sounds bad, but you make complacency in bad spots even worse by giving people money to do nothing. if you are too dumb to realize that you need a job and education (and art or philospohy dont count) to survive, then you should learn the hardway. go learn a trade and contribute around here. and we wonder why the world is so overpopulated.

It has to start with us taking out the propaganda machines so we can get our own message out and get the people on board.
