DM -Born in a small city in the southern regions of Greece, DMarinos began his musical journey at the age of 16, Dj-ing for his local radio station.
His initial influence began with his older brother, who was already an established DJ, playing at some of the great venues across the country. Watching and listening carefully it wasn?t difficult for D Marinos to understand how things worked on the dance floor, it was natural and when he started playing his own unique style he quickly gained a large and regular audience for his radio show.
It was this audience that brought him to his first residence at his local venue which in turn grew into a second residence in a town near to where he lived.
At the age of 19, he moved on Ioannina (the largest city of northwest Greece), where he studies materials engineering. Although he did continue to concentrate on his music. Having his daily mix show on a local radio station and also many gigs at venues including PAL club,
Serai and N Club.
Over the years he's been there, he was fortunate to meet people such us Nick and John Dalagellis, who gave him more inspiration to continue..
In May 2004 he achieved to be one of the finalists in the Greek Heineken THIRST competition. There he met great Greek pioneers of electronic music such as Viton, Kosmas Epsilon, Jos? Zamora who became great friends and advisors.. Increasingly becoming more popular he ventured to other cities playing @ vex club &
Spilaio club in Keffallonia also Rodon club @ Patras to name but a few???.
March 2005 was the beginning of his production career having his first track officially released on Greek KLIK records and in MAY 2005 he found his bootleg mix on massive attack - teardrop being in the charts and sets of many great global dj's such as Hernan Cattaneo , Micah , Damian dp , Kosmas Epsilon , Andrew k, Dju and others.
At this moment DMarinos is working hard to make the finest compilation of his own tracks to his first album.
