I agree w/ what's mentioned in this thread. Hopefully Diggers rides on this train b/c i'm diggin it.

For a moment i thought that i was just so "progged out" that my eccentricities shifted my audio sensories to liking diggers' lame sets of recent years.

However i listened to 'er for the second time and i was like "shit man, diggers really pulled through on this one!"

In all fairness to the man you have to experiement and really listen to what "tickles your pickle" so to speak to really be passionate about what you are trying to do in the industry that you've chosen a career out of. But as the ol' adage goes "if something works, don't fix it". That being his mind blowing sets of yester-year.

Sorry i'm hungover and in rant mode. Don't mean to take out the stick to stir up any shite on this post!!!!

I thought this mix was amazing, one of digger's best this year so far
The terry grant tune is stunning!

You pretty much hit the nail on the head.

The last like.. oh 4 or 5 shows have been really good in my opinion.

One thing I fail to remember is that although Digs has a bottomless record box, what he can play really depends on what is out there and fresh right now. He sometimes throws on some older stuff, but those are typically on the one or two "classics" (or themed) shows he's done.

As for these latest mixes, it would appear that the quality of the material that is out there at the moment must be increasing. There was sort of a lull there for a while.

Whatever has hit the water or air on the various producers and DJs... I hope it keeps up too. The depth of the mixes in terms of track selection and overall vibe has been awesome. I've been into all of them as of late.

The electro stuff doesn't bother me too much, although when he's dropped some of those niiiice darker prog tracks lately I come back to remembering - oh yeah, that's what I love.

And everyone's right - that Garcia mix is top notch. But, I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Stel set as well? I really dug it. Some nice stuff coming out of Greece on that one too.

n-e-way. Let's enjoy the ride and hopefully some great stuff will be coming down the airwaves in the months to come...

Been travelling a lot lately, IMO Digweed is playing what's on air right now but come on, stop the Electro thing ...and where does it bring you? I'm not against new sounds tho but prob Garcia's set has shown to Digweed that deep dark prog is still da best

anyone know the 3rd to last track? it's unlisted in the tracklisting section and Mr. Diggers mentions it as "Katayo" or something along those lines but I can't find anything on it...
