Do you feel any more warmer or fuzzier about having the kid yet? I remember you said you weren't as excited as people normally are. Has it hit you yet?

To be honest... no. I still cannot believe that this is actually happening to me. I`ve seen him and I`ve even felt him kick, but it`s just not reality in my mind yet. I honestly wish I was overjoyed.. but I`m not, and I feel like shit for the way I feel. I`m sure though like everyone has told me that when he comes along I will feel totaly devoted.

Me, a dad! Doesn`t ring home at all yet.

Glad to hear everything is going well, my brother's second is due in early Sept. And here I am 1.5 years older and still kidless. :? Oh well, one of me is enough for now, the world couldn't handle much more.

I think I?ve told you this before, but the same thing happened to me, I was feeling the same things.

It only hit me the 1st I saw him.

Labour wasn?t easy for my g/f, we had to go to the Emergency ward they had to cut open her belly to get him out, it seems like he was suffoctaing or something.

Anyway, when he 1st came out from the delivery room, he was in an incubator and I rushed to see him for just a few seconds...he was just minutes old, something so small...I can?t even begin to tell you how I felt, but there?s no need, you?ll see what I?m talking about...and the it?ll hit you.

Don?t feel guilty, only in movies are we supposed to go "oh honey, is this true? I?m so happy, I love you so much!!" blah, blah, blah.
