The Bunker Podcast 149: Jen Orlando

From Connecticut to New York and now passing onto the Netherlands, until recently Jen Orlando organized parties with friends and fellow DJs Maroje T and Anna Waluk under Brooklyn-based events collective Remedy. Influenced by both classical and contemporary sounds as well as the art of storytelling and spoken word, her style combines lush melodies and dense rhythms with the abstract in cerebral and emotive sets for various contexts, from the dance floor to yoga flows. This mix was recorded in April, 2017.Tracklist:Gregory Whitehead - This Is Not a TestDale Cornish - Cxema (Where To Now?)Mantis - Decomposition (Black Smoke Records) EBE-2 - The Calling (Golden Mist Records)Vicky Chow - Rave (New Amsterdam Records)The Orb - Moon Scapes 2703 BC (Kompakt)N.M.O. - RIYL Roma (Diagonal Records)Paul Lansky - Notjustmoreidlechatter (Bridge Records)Okihide - Kwaheri (Sublime the Adolescence)Shake - Sandblaster (Astralwerks)The Advent - Bad Boy 2 (Internal)Microwave Prince - Golden Times (Le Petit Prince)Bass Clef - Transprism (The Trilogy Tapes)Freddy Fresh - Freestylin’ (Millenium Records)Dynamo - Außen Vor 1 (DIN)Skee Mask - Junt (Ilian Tape)DeFeKT - Incept (Takeover Recordings)Fred Giannelli - Distant Gratification (Dust Science Recordings)DJ Metatron - The Colour (Traumprinz)Stephan Micus - 56 Flowerpots (ECM Records)
