Just stepped outside and watched another successful shuttle launch. I took two pictures, but they didn't come out that great. Did anyone else get a chance to see the launch, or capture any pics?

i was on the beach about 50 miles north of the launch. it was my first one and it was very very cool. someone sitting near me said that the flame was about a half mile long behind the shuttle. that's one serious flame.Comment

its alot of fuel and power as well. that thing has to be a couple hundred thousand tons. getting to space isnt a short trip.your life is an occasion, rise to it.

I tried to watch it out the window at work but there was too many clunds where I was. :cry: It is cool as shit to see, isn't it?? Anyone ever seen it at night??

Yep, went down to the cape one night for a launch. We had gotten a few passes and it was truely spectacular.
