does hotmail simply no longer allow emails to be sent to AOL members. every fucking time and now i got a pissed off client screaming at me at 1030 cuz the email never arrived.

I haven't had any problems with my Hotmail account for years. seems that if they'd do anything to AOL, it'd be preventing them from sending messages to Hotmail accounts, due to all the spam -

The other thing you might want to have your AOL buddies check is to make sure you didn't end up on a spam mail list. If you email didn't get bounced back to you thats probably the case. personal is hotmail
and side business is gmail.

looks like they can't handle their own popularity anymore...
a couple months ago i got a message from them saying they will no longer provide Outlook support, unless you're like a 2-year member, which i am, so no problem here... but seriously, you'd think they'll start expanding their features over time, while all they're doing is cutting down on the server load...
