I haven't had any problems with my Hotmail account for years. seems that if they'd do anything to AOL, it'd be preventing them from sending messages to Hotmail accounts, due to all the spam -

I don't know if they have started it yet but they were going to implement Sender-ID:
Originally posted by slashdotIf your e-mail does not have a Sender ID, Microsoft wants to junk your message. Somewhere after November, MSN and Hotmail will consider it as spam. Sender ID is a specification for verifying the authenticity of e-mail by ensuring the validity of the server from which the e-mail came. Some experts feel that 'Sender ID' is not an accepted standard and has many shortcomings. Some also feel that Microsoft is trying to strong-arm the industry into the adoption of an incomplete and not accepted standard."They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security." -Benjamin FranklinComment

AOL = Antichrists Of Lettucehttp://www.myspace.com/mjdubmusic
You can't have manslaughter without laughter.
"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."Comment

Re: hotmail annoying the hell
this thread should have been called AOL annoying as hell. not only would you be bringing the attention to the real problem AOL's email system, but it rhymes too. AOL / hell. agh you get it.once upon a time, machines were mice, and men were lions. now that its the opposite, it's twice upon a time

Re: hotmail annoying the hell
looks like they can't handle their own popularity anymore...
a couple months ago i got a message from them saying they will no longer provide Outlook support, unless you're like a 2-year member, which i am, so no problem here... but seriously, you'd think they'll start expanding their features over time, while all they're doing is cutting down on the server load...
EDIT: this was regarding to hotmail, not GheyOLComment
