I could be wrong but I'm sure they've tried before the 2001 press club was the most watched ever on whatever that govt channel is....many govt officials, military and civilians came forward to congress and all told their stories

now I don't have my hopes up at all, look at all the major mass sightings.......the phoenix lights of 93, the ariel school incident in 93, hmm what other mass sightings the Hudson valley incident can't remember the year and the westall ufo incident in Australia 1966, just a few of very interesting sightings that have been recorded in modern history. And Chicago o hare ufo in 2007 audio from pilots and air traffic control reported something over gate c-17.

oh and the 1952 fly over of the US capital by 9 or 10 craft.......

Ok I'm not sure....but what ever source this is the first paragraph states.....Congressional appropriations to the Pentagon from Fiscal Years 2001-2016 have totaled more than $8.5 trillion. About $6.8 trillion of this was in non-emergency, base budget appropriations, including forpersonnel pay and benefits, weapons procurement, and funding for military bases.

but on September 10th 2001 Donald Rumsfeld announced this.....
