I've seen quite a few shows in my day but nothing like this.
Mark Farina played a 2 hour mushroom jazz set last night at First Ave. in Minneapolis and it was absolutly insane.
His mixing was flawless, progression was perfect and his track selection was unbelivable....3/4 of the tracks that he played were not on any the mushroom jazz albums, so alot of new tunes that I've never heard before.
Then Chuck Love and Fourfeet went on. Very cool house with live instruments, very impressive, especially with the challenge of following a mushroom jazz set.
After Chuck Love, Mark Farina came on for a 2 hour house set... don't remember too much of this though, I was pretty wasted..
Overall great night..
