Good luck with that one. Who knows, maybe hell has frozen over and he will allow it.

Will never happen. Digweed will not allow you to record his set.

Especially Digweed...you will get a no. It's going to be hard to get into most clubs with a DAT recorder or another form, unless they aren't really doing any searches. And even with that, you are going to have so much crowd noise, etc. since you will have to keep it in your pocket because the moment you start holding it up to record better, that's when security will most likely eject you.

You can't have manslaughter without laughter.

"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."

just go up to Digweed and ask him...

he seems so nice in that Groove movie.

maybe he will give you a copys of all his tracks.

if the bouncers give you any trouble ask them if they need a hug?

his sound technician will never let it happen, much less digweed.

                            Re: Recording live sets?

i'm pretty sure that Digweed records all of his sets himself, so he'll be difficult to get one from.

in general i think the promoter has to set this up before the gig starts. its an uncomfortable situation to ask a dj for permission after they have already entered the booth. the promoter should give the okay, then the device should be properly set up before anyone walks into the club.

overall set recording is a sketchy process. a dj isn't as loose at the decks when they know its being recorded and not under their full control.

then i will just say i will do it,

so if someone from his bunch is reading this, they wont
know if i have done so or not.

                              heheh, joke

only there is a possibility that maybe promoter gets beaten by digger...

somedays i just wonder why he doesnt let people to record his sets?
it can only be better for him, i suppose.
