I went to Output to see Sasha on this night. It was refreshing hearing all these awesome new tracks and I am thrilled he broadcasted it!! The thing with him playing in Brooklyn at places like Output or the old Verboten is that he goes very hard and bassy at these venues. It sounds much different than what you hear on his radio show, almost like you're listening to Digweed. It could be attributed to how the system is dialed in but over the years I noticed he spins much darker, harder in NYC than compared to other locations I've seen him.

And yet this set, at least first 2 hours, are really soft (and great!).

wow. dont know what is wrong with me but so bored with his Sasha's music....does not do much for me. digs seems like he is light-years ahead as far as the quality of his music...

solid, but compared to his best (e.g. Essential mix 2007, Liquid Rooms 2003) is a bit average. At least he tries to find and play new music as he said, not the same selection over the months.
