Music has a very short shelf life these days. I barely remember any of the tunes i played a month ago. There’s a few that sneak through but nothing like what it was back in the day. Making this mix was fun, nostalgic and it reminded me of the days where i felt a lot of love went into music and made it memorable. Music that you remember the next week, the next month, or years later….
    This rings true with me.

^^^ There is still some amazing music being made and I'm remembering it.

A track list would have been nice.

Tracks don't break like they did in the 90's, I still love the music being made but I too do not remember tracks much after hearing them. I never walk away from a club with a tune in my head that will stay with me for a period of time.

It's true, I remember how often I used to listen to renaissance or GU CD's, for months. I think I almost managed to wear out my Xpander EP back in 1999. Now there's so much stuff out there. It's about picking and choosing what really stands out, and to be honest most of it seems to come from Argentina for me these days .. they just have the right mix of melody and balearic beats.

I can personally say that on many things .. First that comes to my mind, movies.

Now we have sooo much stuff / information about everything, really overwhlaming.. itīs just like we simply donīt have time to process things and bond with music, movies, pictures...... people. I wouldnt say itīs bad, its just like the way it is.

Will give this a go btw
