I'm about 20 minutes east of Columbus. Where I just got a residency at a local space called Bristol bar on every 4th Monday. I'm quite happy. Plus a buddy of mine just offered me his night for this Saturday at another local club called Carlile. I believe you can find more info about both of them online.

It's a fairly small town. Right east of Reynoldsburg. There's Columbus, then Reynoldsburg, then Pataskala. Going east that is...

I play all kinds of stuff, from 80's house remixes to tech-electro to straight prog up into the sweaty tribally stuff that I love for the end of the night. I'm also getting into the spanish house stuff like Chus and Ceballos. Those guys are awesome in my book.

I've only been to Cleveland once to hear people and that was back in 2003 for the Funky Charms 5 night. I wanted to hear David and the guys play so badly, but I ended up with my bro Quantum hanging with him over at that Beach club place.

David played on my old decks that night...even though i'm really not proud because they were Denon's and not Tech's. They are great decks, but the pitch control makes them flutter as it is a 12% pitch change, and it's really hard to make a record ride with that little room for error. I called him up after that event and apologized for it, and he was so cool about it.

I'd really love to come up there, but I want it to be on a night when there's a really good dj coming, and on a night when I know my car will make it up and back. Hell I could probably rent a car for two days.

I'll try it again later.

I'll see what I can do about making it up there. I doubt my new job would let me.
