i've been killing his live set at sweetchilli from last summer ago.

swettchilli set was good indeed.

the 3 x CD renaissance tjing was way too commercial - just the usual old skool tunes, although i'm sure it is mixed perfectly.

hope he brings out something new soon, one of my favourite dj's.

I really hope this time around he does a darker mix then his balance cd. I really liked his nubreed cd and nothing has lived up to anything close to that. So maybe anthony pappa will deliver goods this time around.

balance cd1 is one of the best house progressions i've heard. holden's too. i worked backward through pappas stuff then, and found some flashes of it until i got to the really fast stuff w/ ren v.2. he finds lots of great tracks off all kinds, but none of the progressions are so brilliant as balance cd1.

definitely be excited to wade through 3 cds.

WOW CD 1 is def Ol skool like a mutha. I mean Break for Love, Sandy B and Robin S now those were some good tracks back then.

The renaissance classics CDs are very good. True, ive got most of the tracks on other mixes or on vinyl, but this is the best mixed classics collection ive ever heard. You can tell a true pro has been let loose with some great music, and not an office bloke with a PC

Greg is absolutely right, about a week ago I got their e-mail announcing this mix cd. It is all older stuff. It might be good for those who are just getting into prog and house. But I have no use for it.
