they do it to get more interaction in the social networks,
comments, likes, etc
Take in consideration that this is free and nobody pays for it.
The ones who should change are the companies like Soundcloud, with a streaming in at least 320kbps although they prefer to save.
But the artists get only likes in exchange. This help to keep exposure thru the algorithms.
Let's support that.
