    Satoshi Tomiie: ES-B

    Satoshi Tomiie: ES-B
    Released 8.2.05

Satoshi Tomiie releases ?ES-B? (pronounced ?s-B), the second in a two part mix series through Saw.Recordings on 2nd August. The follow-up to ?ES? sees Satoshi cast off the shackles of his progressive leanings and dig for some deeper house. ?I love the deeper stuff but with the gigs I get it?s a lot more difficult for that to filter through in my sets,? says Satoshi. ??ES-B? is moving more towards the Inland Knights than the chunky progressive style that I usually play out.?

I saw Satoshi in Holland last week and he rocked the place. He was definately one of my favourite dj's that weekend and he was in good company as Cattaneo, Warren, Sasha, Zabiela just to name a few.

I have both album. Well, if you want the Drak hard hitting Tomiie you get the first ES.

The second one your asking baout is very housy. If you like that housy funky sound of Def Mix (Morales, Knuckles) then you'll like this album. I enjoyed it but it seemde to lag near the end.

            Overall, good album nothing great.

agreed. VERY DEFMIX style. Lush housey choonz.....very Terrace style. very rare for tomiie to play this style out so this is very refreshing. I ADORE that kerri chandler track. CHOON

Got ES and i love it

Will get hold of ES-B soon hopefully, Satoshi was one of the first DJs i heard that got me into the "prog" sound with his NuBreed CD.

his nubreed CD was pure genius. blew every other GU away in my humble opinion. the only thing that holds a candle up to it recently is Howells Miami GU. Guys a master of programming. which i think is 90% of the DJ game......its not about dropping bombs, its about "taking you somewhere"

but maybe im biased since hes my fave. dj and is the guy that pretty much inspired me to start djing/producing
