I know I was an arse and went on too long about how I didn't like his set here in L.A. BUT I was wondering if any of you "In the Know" people could tell me if: "White Island" ever got released. Cheers in advance.
Actually... Here is what I posted about his set here in L.A. on the Bedrock Board.
Luke played the most boring half ass electroish go nowhere set. Completely destroyed the nice job Kev did building for the first 2 hours. Shame really, I wasn't expecting Luke to play or sound like his "Bloc Rock" track but I didn't think that his set was even worth mentioning.
As always I managed to have fun anyway. I think I'll pass next time Luke comes to L.A. though.
Here is what he wrote me back:

To which I felt like an arse. And now I remember that I'm after one of his old songs... Not too bright on my part.
OWN3D! The danger of a messageboard is the impersonality...and sometimes you tend to forget that the commented may read it too ;-) Gotta agree I sometimes have had the same thought after a set that dissapointed me, but then I always think: that's just what was in his head and came out, and as long as it wasn't me behind the decks, who am I to personally attack someone who busted his balls to give me a good night? I am always still grateful for the effort made, even if it didn't work out for me personally that time.
