Re: What kind of headphones do you use...
mostly my Shure e3c's. i like the sound they deliver. the bass lacks a bit, but very clear with the more techy stuff. also very small for traveling around, which is always a plus.Comment

Just picked up a pair of Shure e2c's that are wonderful. I'm sure the 3's are much better, but the 2's still pack a hell of a punch. Best purchase I've made since I got the iPod.A good shower head and my right hand - the two best lovers that I ever had.Comment

Some crappy 15 euro JVC headphones. Best ever...have had at least 6 pairs of those, and never gonna switch unless I get rich and can afford those Shure's.Blowkick visual & graphic design - No Civilization. Now With Broadband.

Re: What kind of headphones do you use...
as i said in post above i got a pair of sennheiser dh650's prob best quality iv'e eva come across but the trouble is my creative jukebox just ain't got the juice to get the most out of them ( i am a lil deaf) has anyone heard of whether u can buy a mini battery amp to power them .the bigger speakers in em need more juice. btw anyone thinking of purchasing some phones for dj'ing should seriuosly consider a pair .. they don't look like ure usual style phones for using i know but god dayum are they crystal clear i think they have the highest frequenzy range u can get .. as low as 10 hz .. not many speakers get that low .. Re: What kind of headphones do you use...
I won't use DJ headphones for just listening to music, I've noticed some of them change the sounds to make mixing easier but that means it sounds really different when you just listen to music. For example, my Sony v500's make a bassline sound rather...i cannot describe the sound, but it deffo ain't a deep bassline anymore. It is changed in such a way that it actually can be heard over the bass in your surroundings. The bass does tock instead of boom if you know what i mean.Blowkick visual & graphic design - No Civilization. Now With Broadband.

Re: What kind of headphones do you use...
the 650's arn't dj'ing headphones but i was just saying cos i recon they could b used as such .. what they are all about is true sound and they deliver better than any i have heard . the beat the hell out of listening to my system at home or any system iv'e heard .. obviously in a club the base goes through ure body and that would b impossible to re-create with phones but on everything else fuck me are they goodComment

Dude, I totally believe you ;-)
I was actually referring to all those who actually ARE listening with DJ-headphones in this thread...anyone notice any difference in listening in here? I sure know I do when I plug my V500's into my stereo...Blowkick visual & graphic design - No Civilization. Now With Broadband.
