For djing I use the sony 700's and then for listening to music I have another pair of cheap sony headphones. But they sound fanastic.Common Sense is not Common at all.Comment

The 700s sound awesome for their price. Very clear and smooth. To top it off they are incredibly comfortable. I can wear them for hours. The A900s would sound different since they're closed (the AD700s are open). I guess they would have more bass and a closed-in sound but I haven't tried them myself.Originally posted by dasbooyahComment

Technics dj1200s. love em. My fiance has the pioneer's, i prefer the technics for sound, but the pioneer for comfort. Will never own a sony product. When my techs break, if they ever do, i'm getting senns.Comment

I have the Sony MDR-V700's. There is a difference when mixing and listenging on my Dell jukebox mp3 player. The difference is that my records sound fucking bad ass, super clear and heavy dope ass bass!
Mp3's sound great as well, no complaints here with these Sony's best purchase I've made this year in regards to dj/mixing/music. Comfortable too, grabs your entire ear and is almost air tight! lol.Comment

5 years is pretty good for those 700's! i am on my second pair and the first ones didn't even make it to two years. but my 700's (about 2 years old) look brand new. those pioneers will be my next pair, i just convinced a buddy of mine to get them just for casual listening and hes all about them.Comment
