i'm all for all ages events but how does this help the image of our scene?! at around this time, i took off to europe, and as a WHOLE i found
people were much more responsible about what they ate at clubs and when etc.

I don't think we need to debate the fact that Europe produces more worldy young adults, not to mention an environment where to be drunk or high (even a little) is not some taboo mystery that has that added "thinkin with your dick not your mind" power of fucking with your rationale.

Not to mention the majority of american culture, oftentimes hypocritically, have a distinct black & white comprehension of "drugs" in the 100%CleanorJunkie-whore. And unfortunately, but not very surprisingly, there seems to be a direct correlation to whether you are a decent human being, or going straight to hell for your horrible weakness that gave way to succumbing to the devil's "temptations". So ultimately (largely in our subconscious I am betting) growing up in the US conditions the population to view and talk about (if not treat) any "drug user" as a 2nd class citizen at best.

This isnt everybody I am well aware, however it's the same soulless/inexcusable bunch of assholes that voted 2X's to make sure things kept getting closer back to "the real america" with values (incest, divorce, infidelity, anti-depressants) hiding so much of who we truly are, this fear of judgement by people we ultimately don't give a fuck about nor should we... and it ends up compromising our ability to connect with eachother as human beings... It's really difficult to begin and grow a truly deep and complex realtionship (platonic or otherwise) when both parties involved are pre-screening and censoring their actual thoughts and hiding whatever parts of themselves this fear-induced warped-perception of self worth...

(so many people fully convinced that another person's opinion of them somehow has this remotely palpable correlation to who they truly are, or how much more or less deserving/entitled they are to getting what they want out of life)

Please, if anyone reads this and it even vaguely occurs to you that you are holding yourself back from doing whatever it is you really enjoy or love, STOP and PONDER... how fucked and painful will that day(s) be when you look back at the road you've travelled.... acknowledging to yourself that you gave up your drivers seat essentially, and got on a bus with no posted route or destination because a few assholes, who quite likely are more "fucked up" than you ever were, or thought you were, or who knows.... maybe you are useless and boring and republican...
