Oakenfold New York has gotta be one of the top 10 dance music albums of all time.

It was fun while it lasted...

I remember hearing it for the first time, it was around 1997, my friend had the record. I was laying on the bed and just listening to it change me. Up until then we were mostly interested in Break Beats and Happy Hardcore like dj keoki, r-fresh, ak-1200 and DJ Icey. But the Northern Exposure record shifted my focus onto progressive house, and likely changed the course of my life. Music is powerful.
