Aviator and Seduction aside I thought it was dreadful, just fucking noise most of it . That's just my opinion of course, full of shitty kiddy shite and not for adult consumption. Ears were hurting most of it, Just glad I didn't listen live and could move it forward. I usually love applescal but that track is a lot of bollox.
He commented recently on not being able to imagine playing banging club music and that shows because this isn't the shit he would entertain playing given half the chance I reckon. This belongs to a different generation than 50 year olds now and his passion is clearly in his luzoscuro style sets. Just playing for money and that goes for diggers too, his bunker sets absolutely piss all over his club sets ( the ones that are on the net anyway) and that's because he's playing music he likes too, not tracks he's expected to.

I think that there are quite a few DJ's out there that are just playing because they are used to a certain amount of income and couldn't do another job paying the same amount of money anywhere else.

It made me laugh when in that Sasha interview, he said that in the 90's he would land in Ibiza and go to Space and spend as much time in there as he could, now he would rather go walking in the Ibiza hills. Some of that you can put down to age though.

Yeh totes agree. What I find interesting is that they are all allegedly totally loaded so surely they can afford to be doing the things they like most.
Does make me wonder why you would want to stand there playing a load of shit to kids when you neither like it or need the money.

The visuals on the Lost Horizon are fucking horrific, you can't even focus on the music. I'm 20 minutes in and I don't know how much more I can take. Sponge Bob has OD'ed. It just looks weird and creepy.
