Look forward to hearing this and find out how boring it is!

It's so hard to be Digweed when he's set the bar so high; when most of his peers have given up and are phoning it in!

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

well maybe the set was a bit underwhelming because he hasn't played vinyl in 17 or 18 years....

Have not heard it yet, I do see the tracklisting though. Definitely not a complaining, cause anything John puts out is a blessing to have and hear. But I was surprised to not see more classic records on there. I guess assuming it was a vinyl set, he would play mostly old school stuff.
Only reason I say that too, is that alot of these Bunker Sessions are full of very old school house tracks.Either way, hes the DJ, i will let him pick and program the sets and I can't wait to download and play this week's set.

BTW, I love that he has been playing C12- Judy more again, such a badass track

Wasn't billed as a vinyl classics set - just JD playing a range of music at home. Also pretty much unplanned - just a few slabs of vinyl and put together on the fly. Each week has been different at least .. little to no repetition of tracks. Based on R rate, plenty of future opportunities ahead.

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

True, wasnt billed as a "Classic Set", like I said, no complaints, more pleasant surprise. And yeah very little to no repeat tracks over the 20 weeks, although I feel he could play continuously day and night for 20 weeks and still not repeat many tracks

aside from a couple of them that i really love, i think #2 and #13, i enjoy these more if i can watch them live. they are a nice distraction and the chat usually has good vibes

i miss the energy in transitions like the one 1:11-1:13, maybe it's because it's not completely in sync like when the computer does it

As per a few others, I was very underwhelmed at this set. Not on a par with some other Bunker sets.

What was the purpose of the first 25 minutes or so? I often wonder if DJs sometimes play tracks like that to see how long people will last before saying 'isn't this literally the same 30 second track over and over and over'?

                          Anyway, onwards to Bunker 21

That's a really odd track and not something I'd associate with Digweed.
