    that is an impressive response time. maybe it's just because i love my jukebox that i am so against ipods .

        The common person is not going to do this...the general public will toss it in the garbage and buy a brand new one. IMO, Apple has designed this product to be disposable after the battery dies.

        I know it's not designed to last forever...but at least if your mobile phone battery dies, you have the option to either to buy a replacement battery or new phone.
