    Leave it to HBO to run something down the ground. The first season I heard was good but just leave it alone. Do we really need another season of this. Why not create a new show to take its place.

      you cant be serious. this show kicks ass and a 2nd season is much needed. there's no way they canbuild the characters up to what they have and then just let them "die" so to speak.
      we've not heard the last of Rome yet.

        they spent something like 5 months building the set in Italy. why would the cancel the show after one season if they put that kind of effort into it??

          HBO spent lots of money on Rome - $100 million. And the lead actors signed 5 year deals per an article I read when the season first started.

            I just got on this band wagon. Simply amazing show. Historically accurate, well done produced, and T&A in a classic form.
