CNN aint got shit on that blog page. i cant believe that shit about the national guards shoving water off the side of a bridge. thats BULLSHIT!!
i wish i was a lawyer. i'd bring the fuckers up on charges!
My thoughts are with all people who got hurt, killed or ruined by the Hurricane. There?s one thing I do not understand though and makes me mad so I have to rant about it.
20 countries have offered help, from richer countries like Japan and Germany to poorer countries like Honduras or Venezuela but Bush said no thanks in the first place on the ABC channel which I just saw on our news. He must have said something like "I do not expect much from other countries because we did not ask for help. Some are maybe willing to send us money but we can solve our problems on our own". Sorry but that?s just rubbish! We can see in the news how good your government is with flying people out and helping them. No offense here, it?s just the hugest rescue action in the last centuries so it will take a while but why does America (once again) isolate itself from the rest of the World instead of letting other countries help to rescue people and to provide them with food? This statement from Bush is also a slap in the Face for all people who packed their things together and travelled to the USA to help. Normally, help should be welcome, no matter who offers it and helping each other only brings people together. Refusing help makes people care less and your dear Mr. President has taken yet another step in making people not care about America with his nice words. He also took care that the Image the rest of the World has from America will not improve. You may not care about this right now, but some day this attitude will lead America to more serious problems than a Hurricane.
Condoleeza Rice has said in a press conference that "no offer of aid will be refused" so it appears as though she and her boss need to get on the same page - quickly! Immediately after her comments Russian officials stated that despite Rice's comments, their pledge to send search and rescue teams was declined.
A good shower head and my right hand - the two best lovers that I ever had.

That shit is unbelievable...
I can?t understand this attitude...and I sincerely doubt the American people are behind their government on this...

What...you mean murders, suicides and rapes in the Superdome, bodies covered with blankets out in the open and people still waiting for some kind of acknowledgement that help is on the way??? I don't know, but shit has got to change.....fast. :?
Just a weatherman getting pissy at the news anchor lady when he's trying to explain Katrina's meteorological process.
Helicopters are just being deployed from Norfolk today and a Red Cross comfort ship (ala cruise liner) is set to leave Baltimore on...get this...SUNDAY!

I haven't seen or heard anything about this, but if that is the case the man has lost his mind. The single biggest crisis in the history of this country and he wants to "go it alone" again?? WTF!!! Our rescue efforts are obviously pushed well beyond capacity and he is REFUSING HELP??!!!
This shit is just getting more and more fucked up on so many levels. What the fuck is happening???
The south voted overwhelmingly for Bush in 2004. Its nice to know that he's there for them now.
Either way - this is just a sad situation all round... Its a perfect study of how society just completely breaks down into anarchy after a disaster if there is no government.
