Brace for the worst right now...it may not hit 1970s style, but then again that was because there was an actual shortage...right now, it's more that there's not much of a way to deliver it :?

Re: Gas Prices
Well, around here it?s insane too.
Especially taking into account that we?re one of the countries in Europe with the lowest wages (certainly the lowest in Western Europe, at least), but we still get to have some of the most expensive gas prices in Europe.
Just yesterday I paid 1.25 Euros Per Litre, that?s 1.55$ per litre, gasoline, unleaded.
One year ago, I could double the mileage with the same quantity of gas...Comment

I guess it doesn't bother me as much because I live about 2 miles from work so I only have to fill my car once or twice a month. then again, maybe I don't give a shit because there's nothing I can do about it. an extra 10 bucks a month isn't going to break a person... it's only 33 cents a day.
Unfortuantely it's costing a lot of people a lot more than 10 dollars more a month."Dream as if you''ll live forever, Live as if you''ll die today." -- James Dean --Comment

Bush is going to let oil out of the reserve but it won't do anything other than make his oil buddies richer.
i think the nation needs to rethink its plans for this holiday weekend and just stay at home and not travel. we need to have this whole thing blow over. it seems that the people that drive that the market (who have already been worried about oil production) are too worried about what this disaster will effect and driving prices up even more just incase.once upon a time, machines were mice, and men were lions. now that its the opposite, it's twice upon a time
