Good advice. Here's some other things that you should avoid doing:
going home with the ugliest girl at the party
going home with the ugliest guy at the party
eating the hamburger that fell through the grill
eating the potato salad still left over from the 4th of July
drinking and then mowing the lawn
shiting your pants
using fireworks indoors
catching a game at the Astrodome
making New Orleans jokes (see above)
