Pioneer CDJ-200 jog dial stiff, not normal !

I bought two cdj200s on ebay. One is great, but the other has a problem with the jog-dial. it hits a spot and then gets all tight, hard to move, it kinda kinks up. Not smooth and as responsive as my other cdj200 jog dial. How can i fix it ? Is it covered by warranty ?

    thanks !

hard to say if you'd have a warranty with an Ebay purchase.
you may want to look at the site that sells the 200's and look for a phone number to call and ask about it.
    the site is: www.pioneerprodj.com

for the record, i also own two cdj 200's. and they both work perfectly.

Pioneer explicitly states that they do not cover any product purchased over eBay. I would check back with the person you got it from...

looks like i am screwed. NOT happy about it. The seller on ebay wants nothing to do with the issue. Wonder how much it is going to end up costing !

were the seller's reviews decent? you can't do a whole lot but skewer their reviews unless it's an 'as is' item. best of luck. hound them until they crack...

i don't blame pioneer for shrugging off ebay transactions, but the 200's are so new something should cover them... sucks.

i've got some ordered now... my heart's out to ya... looks like it SHOULD be sweet gear...

if you have any defects, return it. your cdj shouldn't be doing that. do not try and fix it yourself until you talk to the vendor. if it is an individual and not a commercial store, you may have just been jerry-whacked. thats what pay pal is for.
Should I fuck you at that not until the ass, inject then tremendously hard bumschen and to the termination in the eyes yes?
