Re: AtomChip? SG220-2
I saw the same slashdot posting a couple days ago. Maybe you should change your threshold there. Just because its a technology site doesen't mean that everyone that posts there is intelligent. You failed to see the stuff that indicated otherwise:
CES 2005 Awards Honorees page: http://cesweb.org/attendees/awards/i...sp?category=48
So now your going to tell me CES is in on this hoax too?
They did not have this particular notebook present at CES 2005 but are instead going to present it at CES 2006, though they did win an award for another notebook they presented which used the same technologies but were just not running at these specs:
Their patents must be fake too:
Interestingly enough when you look up the domain owner its the same guy on that patent:
Having a good website doesen't mean shit especially since they are in the developmental stage of their products. I imagine once they hit the marketing stage and have distributors lined up the site will change into the nice flashy site you were expecting.

At the CES-2005 the company Compu-Technics, Inc. (partner of the company Atom Chip Corporation) demonstrated two new models of the first wireless notebook computer on the market without a Hard Drive. For the first time ever in consumer computers 100GB and 256GB AtomChip@ Non Volatile-RAM/Storage and 4.0GHz AtomChip@ CPU were used in both computers. SG111 was the only one to receive an Award in the Computer Components category for Design & Engineering. SG220 was not submitted for a nomination because the same new components were used in it as in SG111.
Interestingly enough when you look up the domain owner its the same guy on that patent:
