Stripped had been a new addition to London?s progressive scene of late with great intimate parties in Shoreditch?s Medicine Bar and more recently the second room @ Turnmills.This is a quality release from Nikola Gala,?Everything Is You? begins deep and percussive with bongos working with a soulful female vocal while ?Nomad Soul? is a tougher cut which is all about the tribal rhythms.(5/5 Jose Riera)

Nikola Gala is another excellent greek producer,already earning a name for himself off the back of some excellent mixes and releases on the likes of Swift Records and Audio Therapy,not to mention the massive ?Swing to Harmony?.This is the first release on Stripped Recordings,literally hasn?t been off my CDJ?s since I got it.First up is ?Everything Is You?,a huge vocal number and a sure fire winner on any dancefloor with its dirty synth stabs and infectious tribal percussion.And if that isn?t enough flip for ?Nomad Soul?,another solid,bassy,tribal-tinged workout with a bassline that takes it onto the dark side of house.Two absolutely massive slices of dark tribal progginess from Stripped and another step towards world domination for Nikola Gala. M8/M8 (Dave Begg-Dave?s Tunes Of The Month!)
This is the first release on Stripped which is from the crew that run the dynamite Coldtap label. This is a new adventure from the newly formed Stripped Label Management and coincides with the amazing Stripped club nights which really have to head north soon! ?Everything Is You? is a superb techy vocal progster with a slight tribal feel to it. The vocal isn?t an ?in your face? one, but is in a subtle and sexy style. ?Nomad soul? is in a slightly darker sound that will keep people on either side of the fence happy with this release. Arriving from Southend-On-Sea via the Greek studios of Nikola Gala,thje first release on Stripped Recordings is a percussion lover?s wet dream.?Nomad Soul? is probably the most interesting of the two tracks.Relying only on beats,bass and percussion and some eerie chants,it manages to knit together a clever and dancefloor friendly track.The EQ is superb.?Everything Is You? is a bit more obvious with more regular vocals and extra melodies.As a twelve it?s well worth a listen and unlike much else out there.

Nikola Gala is one of the names who is a part of the producer explosion coming out of Greece in the past year. So far he?s been releasing and remixing tracks under labels such as Intrinsic, Audio Therapy, Deep and Fokused. His next release sets him on a techier and tribal path with Everything Is You and Nomad Soul on Stripped Recordings.
Fasten your seatbelts and get ready for a ride of mean basslines and a journey not for the fainthearted.
Everything is You begins with a tribal beat along with a feminine vocal layered over. It is further warmed up with a warm synth bassline and uses deep house and tech house elements to create a track that is not only atmospheric and lush, but a perfect tune at the 4AM range or later into the night. On the other side, is Nomad Soul which is as equally as impressive as it?s A side. It has a mellower, ethereal feel at the beginning but don?t let that fool you. This track has got just as much punch as the A side if not more. Played out by the likes of Sasha, it has the sound and the vibe that will tantalize your senses with its feminine vocals along with the sinister echoed male vocals that fade in and out. With the chugging tribal beats, exotic sounds and mean bassline make it one sick puppy.
Nomad Soul is as seductive as a snake charmer is to a cobra.
What I enjoy about this release is that it?s proper dance music and it?s appeal on both the clubbers and for those who are finicky about their progressive house. Neither track is cookie cutter by any means yet each of them manages to stand out quite individually. Both tracks are stellar in their own right and both Nikola Gala and Stripped Records should be proud. Definitely give it a listen and snatch it up! Be glad to know there?s still good progressive house and danceable at that out there.(9/10 Ariel Cybana)
After exceptional releases as ?Swing 2 Harmony? or ?Blue Impulse/Subterra?, the Greek producer Nikola Gala appears in the spring of this year with a new package as the debut release of the new Stripped Recording label, out of UK, bringing two tribal house and progressive tracks, ?Everything Is You? and ?Nomad Soul?.
The first track is relaxing and combines the tribals with the dark progressive bass line, making from ?Everything Is You? a spicy and kicking track, indicated for the club. Simple and bald, the track contains on the background a female vocal, suggestive and scary, intended to contour and polish up the hallucinatory rhythm which gradually builds a tension which augments more and more, coming on the climax slowly and then going down to the somber and dark bass line which takes the track to a delicious final.
?Nomad Soul? is a bit more melodic, containing furthermore melodic lines and besides that infusing to the listeners a slow fear, an inexplicable anxiety, tough and cold. The tribals are maintained here too, more intense and dense, deeply countered and full of thrills and mister. After the half the song appears with a new, somber, dark bass line.
Looks like Nikola Gala didn?t disappointed the public, succeeding to enchant them with his always astonishing releases, very meticulous composed and with new elements brought in the underground dance music.(Darius Rusi)
