    Well done 2eq!

    I was going to post the exact same solution, which I found out yesterday, but you beat me to it ...

    Well, what counts is that all those tiny pretty icons are back. Hopefully all the other people using Norton Firewall will have their problems solved too.

    It's only strange that this happened one day out of the blue ... I never had any problems and then one day, whoooop!, all images gone.

    Thankfully it's fixed now.

    And now I can insert emoticons here:

        And by the way, Norton is indeed shit!

        If nothing else, it is a terrible resource hog. The firewall coupled with the antivirus (ie the NIS Suite) make the computer so much slower that it is f***ing ridiculous

        I think I'm gonna listen to -e- and try Sygate's Personal Firewall.

        And while we're at it, any suggestions for an antivirus?

          OK well after reading this thread, i took off Norton, actually i ahve nothing of Norton except its anti virus, because i dont know a better one and i installed Sygate. great firewall. Thanks

            Never had any grief with Norton at all, very stable and effective, cant see the problem with the resource issue either, maybe you should invest in a better processor / more RAM. :wink: Sygate can go to hell, total crap imo.
