The Troxy gig was a day gig in London on a Saturday, only when Liverpool got through to a final, he changed the Venue and the time of the event to an all night event. There was no announcement, or notification for ticket holders, they just changed the flyer. He changed it so he could watch the match.

I was a ticket holder for that event (on holiday in Europe at the time), I recall social media posts about the change in venue & time.
While it may seem like it, you don't really know if he's cancelling gigs because of a soccer match.

I think that this was a last minute job. No voice overs, or jingles, mega long mix, maybe he is on a guilt trip.
