    Vinyl to CD for money?

I've been stationed in a town that has absolutely No EDM scene. So I can't really make use of my equipment except for personal use. I have ran into a number of people who need someone to convert old vinyl into CD's.
What I'm asking is if anyone had suggestions as to how much or how to charge for this service. Hourly, by the album , etc. A couple of these potential customers have upwards of 2,000 recs. Any help would rock!
    thanks!

charge an average houryly rate .. then add 50% more cos it would be the dullest job u would eva do . don't forget, as well as just copy over u would have to tag each track .. to do 2000 vinyls even if they were all just one sided 12 " u could only convert 6 an hour . would be 333 hours . and even if you were doing 12 hour days everyday it would take a month ...if i was u id'e charge per vinyl. and hope they don't ask for all 2,000

These guys (www.wepod.co.uk) offer a CD conversion service for iPod owners at ?1 a CD... which is an easier but still time-consuming task.

        soulseek IMO.
yeah charge by the record J
no way they could pay you enough hourly.
you may as well quit the airforce and rip vinyl for a living.
ask them to narrow down the most important records and figure out a lump sum.
a few hundred bucks should be good.
