I use Audio Converter (Mac OS). It's not free, but its a lifetime license. I use that to convert to AIFF then import to iTunes to convert to preferred MP3 bitrate.

ffmpeg converts almost everything. Command:

ffmpeg -i inputfile.opus outputfile.mp3

I use Audacity, a free audio editor. Add some fade ins and outs at the same time if needed.

I tried importing an opus file this morning and it did not accept the filetype. I then tried importing it as raw data and the resulting file was just white noise.

How do you get an opus into Audacity?
