    Also biased...Outfoxed criticized Sean Hannity for saying things like "239 days until the election and George Bush retains the presidency" when Alan Combs does the exact same thing for John Kerry. Yes, FoxNews definitely leans to the right, but IMO, they are still the most fair and balanced. Can the same thing be said for CNN or MSNBC, ABC, CBS, or NBC? No...How often do those stations have a Dem. and Rep. on at the same time debating...once in a while? Those stations show one side most of the time. Rupert Murdoch and Michael Moore must be buds, they both like to distort the facts and show half truths.

      the diferrence is clear.

      i will spare you the details but in a nutshell:

      cnn disginguishes between its fact- and opinion-based programs.

      fox does nothing of the sort.

        Re:: fox news

        I love how the general response to calling out Fox News for being a shill for the RNC is to say "Sure, they're biased, but . . ."

        CNN, MSNBC and the rest are no where near as biased to the left as Fox News is to the right. In fact, the cons have been screaming so loudly about liberal bias, that it sure seems to me that all of the non-blatantly conservative news outlets are skittish about appearing too liberal. Watching CNN on the day Kerry announced Edwards as his running mate sure belied the idea that it is a shill for the DNC.

              You've got to be kidding -- this is spot on -- I was watching Fox News just the other day, and one of the anchors was offering commentary on something Kerry said while shaking her head in disgust.

              Granted, most of the media has a bit of a natural slant one way or the other, but they make an effort to keep it in check, by and large. Fox News, by contrast, has a clear agenda. As compared to other media outlets like CNN, Fox leans much further down the spectrum from center.

              What about talk radio, BTW? Unless you happen to live in one of the few places in America that airs (the rather dull, candidly) AirAmerica, the conservatives pretty much have a stranglehold on the radio, particularly the am dial. I always though it appropriate that those clinging to absurd, religious right-wing ideals would embrace a similarly outdated and antiquated medium like am radio.

                in regards to foxnews ... there is no way in hell you can tell me CNN is more balanced. no way. they just feed it to you in a way that you can not tell.

                i promise.

                  Really? Whew, good thing you pointed that out -- to think that up until now, I've been plodding along, knuckles dragging, being unwittingly spoon-fed liberal propaganda. EUKEKA!!! I CAN SEE!! I CAN SEE!!!

                  Seriously, that seems to imply that Fox News is openly partisan -- am I reading that right?

                            Heck, in this shitty little country we only have frickin Fox kids, and that sucks bigtime! Unbelieveable how much violence and agression is in those cartoons, some of them are even worse than films rated 16 and older...

                            I'm waiting now for the kids here to go Frenzy some day when their best friends accidentally hurts them or something, or answer any question with NO. Killing spree in Kindergarten, because in Dragonball Z it's also common to kill someone who's ugly or just happened to look at you in the wrong way or said "no" to you.

                            A little off topic, but had to spray this somewhere...
