it is a design of having faith that Jesus was the Christ and has been raised form the dead and is going to return to judge the inhabitans of earth past and present.

the instances you speak of I only know from a few thing I have sen on TV. Unfortunately there is no proof of what someone saw in their head. I would believe someone if they wrote it down and certified mailed it to all the major news medias in the affected area and there was no way it was a set up. By setup I mean: Hey Fox news building X is going to blow up on XX/XX/XXXX. That is not a prediction that is a threat . If someone said that in 2016 the moon was going to shift its sides so the dark side of the moon was going to be seen (for the Pink Floyd fans ) then that is something that would convince me they are in the know

              Matthew 24
              1
Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings.
              2
"Do you see all these things?" he asked. "I tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down."

In Matthew 24:1-2, Jesus said that the Temple would be destroyed. The Temple was destroyed about 40 years after Jesus was crucified by the Romans. In 70 AD, the Romans destroyed Jerusalem and killed an estimated 1.1 million Jews. During the destruction, fire was set to the Temple. The fire caused the gold-leaf ornamentation on the Temple ceiling to melt. The melting gold flowed down the walls and settled into crevices within the stones. The Romans pried apart the stones to remove the gold. This fulfilled Jesus' prophecy that not one stone would be left standing on another.

              Luke 21:20-24
And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh
Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

70 AD (1930 years ago): In 70 AD, the Roman Army, under Titus, destroys Jerusalem and the Temple, to suppress an uprising of the Jews. According to the historian Josephus, about 1.1 million Jews were killed. Others were taken as slaves.

The following is a description of the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans, according to Josephus, a Jewish historian who was living in Jerusalem at that time, in 70 AD (about 1900 years ago):

" And as for those that are already dead in the war, it is reasonable we should esteem them blessed, for they are dead in defending, and not in betraying their liberty; but as to the multitude of those that are now under the Romans, who would not pity their condition? and who would not make haste to die, before he would suffer the same miseries with them? Some of them have been put upon the rack, and tortured with fire and whippings, and so died. Some have been half devoured by wild beasts, and yet have been reserved alive to be devoured by them a second time, in order to afford laughter and sport to our enemies; and such of those as are alive still are to be looked on as the most miserable, who, being so desirous of death, could not come at it. And where is now that great city, the metropolis of the Jewish nation, which vas fortified by so many walls round about, which had so many fortresses and large towers to defend it, which could hardly contain the instruments prepared for the war, and which had so many ten thousands of men to fight for it? Where is this city that was believed to have God himself inhabiting therein? It is now demolished to the very foundations, and hath nothing but that monument of it preserved, I mean the camp of those that hath destroyed it, which still dwells upon its ruins; some unfortunate old men also lie upon the ashes of the temple, and a few women are there preserved alive by the enemy, for our bitter shame and reproach. Now who is there that revolves these things in his mind, and yet is able to bear the sight of the sun, though he might live out of danger? Who is there so much his country's enemy, or so unmanly, and so desirous of living, as not to repent that he is still alive? And I cannot but wish that we had all died before we had seen that holy city demolished by the hands of our enemies, or the foundations of our holy temple dug up after so profane a manner. "

Source: The quoted material above is an excerpt from "The Wars Of The Jews" Or "The History Of The Destruction Of Jerusalem", Book VII, Chapter 8, Section 7, written by the ancient historian Josephus. The text is from the "The Works of Flavius Josephus", translated by William Whiston.

                    short version:

Jesus said, "rock out with your cock out, i'm the son of god, bitches!!!"

                    And everyone followed for centuries.

                    End of story.

                        Re: Why Can't I Own a Canadian?

We have this thing called a conscience .. It helps us tell right from wrong .. It is instilled in us through centuries of evolution so we can function as a society . then it is refined through parenting and education . Those that have not obeyed these rules in the past have been killed/exectued thus refinning the ( co-operative gene) . To be honnest the whole karma thing is not something i think is moraly correct ( but hey if it works for you ) because you are hoping that you will be repaid for your good deeds , instead of just doing them because you think it's right . The expulsion of religion should be societies main aim for it creates sepratism and division . Also peoples time and thoughts are wasted on a fantasy when their efforts could be placed into something more useful . And before any godbotherers kick up a fuss facts back me up . The less religion plays a part in society the more successful the society . Trying to rule a community through fear creates nothing but trouble look at all dictatorships ,and that is what religion does .It says if you don't lead your life to these rules you will burn in hell or you won't make it to paradise ect.ect. Fuck religion off, live ure life and try to be nice

i neva said there wasn't something that had a hand in creating the universe but all science and sense tells us that the book of genesis is a load of bolloxs . or what eva part the noa's ark bit was in

^^^ see that is where I go off the yellow beat'n path. I think there is more to life. Last time I checked I am a human being with a soul. If I were a machine your input would be valid. My God does not yeild wars nor hate, but rather acceptance and peace. It is man that has "fucked" up the words of God.

Have you ever played the telephone game? By the end ... the message is very different. Same thing applies here. Got me?

religion does not make war or death, men make war and death looking for power that is just a simple fact. God being the creator can ask, do whatever he wants. Anyone with children knows that we as parents run things not the children (in a normal house that is)

As for the comment on society being better without religion I say 2 things: Find me a society with no type of religion, and many of the countries in existence today weere established and coded by religion.
