what you say may seem like wisdom to you but I see you live in a country deeply seeded in religion

IMO that makes no sense to say that

there is a true beauty in faith. there is also a very evil and dark side when it is used for vendettas.

bart i would never wish you wrong or bad. i accept your way, in such you would accept mine. i do not ask you to fight for Christ or God. most of all, I ask you to respect me for things that help me wake up the next morning. a faith that enriches my life and helps me deal with struggles and hardships. that is all.

i am not sure how ways as such would destory people or society.

I am off to get ready for Bible study this evening so I can be refreshed and encouraged as to what lies ahead after I die and be reminded what it is I need to do to make sure I am told

Mat 25:21His lord said unto him, Well done, thougood and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things,I will make thee ruler over many things:enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

This reminds me of an article I read a couple years ago. It was in Time and asked the question of whether or not religion is in our genes (they did find some evidence that it was). I.E., Alice might be more religious than Bob only because of genitics. Anyhow it pointed out something that I found very interesting; we are the only species on Earth which have highly developed frontal lobes. Because of this we are the only species that can contemplate our own deaths. Cats, dogs other animals don't even realize that they will die someday. So being that we can contemplate our deaths, did we create God to ease the fear of what happens to us after we die?

what the fuck are you talking about . less than 3 percent of the english population go to religous worship every week and you can bet only 1 percent of them are "church of england "

America and England don't let faith govern it's laws or parliment/congress . We live in democracies not theocracies

asdf .. i am not the type of person who gets angry or annoyed by the way other ppl decide to live their lifes and i hope i don't come accross as someone who tells others how to live their life . this is a topic i just enjoy disscussing and i believe what i believe . over the years more bad than good has come from religion and it still bing used as a tool to cause suffering and hate. religion is all about faith in god .. that is something i don't have so i cannot understand relgion from your point of view . if i could just click my fingers and religion would dissapear i would . but if i was given the option that i could make all religous ppl dissapear with the click of my fingers i wouldn't ..

( did that last bit make any sense?)
