People are gonna laugh about my setup...true minimal style:

    Amp (old sony)
2 decks (American Audio HTD 4.5 - they make techs look and feel like toyz)
    mixer (Ecler NUO3)
speakers (2 towers you usually put on the ground...to avoid neighbours getting irritated I used steel wire and steel plated screwed to the sides to hang them on the ceiling. Massive simple construction, it can hold my bodyweight on each bolt. Sounds clear as phuck too....)
    pc

    Voil?. No pic needed methinks?

sounds good YAO. I have a pair of denon 1000's with a djm 300 hooked in to my stereo and my PC which I use soundforge for recording. Very basic but I love it

Jeff, check out my site, www.djaymac.com, I have about 10 mixes up for d/l.

I try to make 1 or 2 new ones a month for my MS Radio show. It all depends on how many new tracks I get...

Re: pictures of your studio/dj setup/computer lab

The HTD 4.5's are identical to the SynQ Xtrm, Akiyama Acura, and more fo those OEM tt's. They're also identical to those blue Stanton ST-150's with extreme high torque...they say it's a new invention of their own, but the only difference between them is the key lock and the extra added weight in the Stantons (16 kilos vs 12 kilos). And the square looks of course...inside everything is identical.

They are SO much smoother than techs, it's unbelieveable: the high torque makes for much better speed adjust, and it's on the old speed immediately. No fighting, no overshoot, nothing. I still cannot believe that vinyl dj's are hesitating to make the switch man...it's the fucking brand issue. And i had the whim removed from the tonearm by a pro (those OEM's come closest to the tonearm of the techs, but the techs are still the only ones that are perfectly adjusted coming out of the factory), so they are a serious match for the techs on that as well.

The Ecler is a nice mixer...simple, sturdy and just what i need. Goes towards the Dateq XTC: 3 channel, you can hook up an FX unit, kill switches for the bass (who used the other ones anyway?)

i am moving into a new house with my girlfriend here shortly, and we have a spare bedroom where i can finally build my studio the way i want it and not have my gear all over the place like where i am living now.
