Would seriously not be surprised if they went with someone who is 'in' at the moment i.e. Fanciulli or even Eric Prydz - somebody that the average clubber might be aware of.

Definitely won't be Fanciulli as he's got a Renaissance album due out in a couple of weeks. I wouldn't care though, there's an old saying in my country: "You can never have too much Fanciulli."

im still keeping my fingers crossed for a nick warren lavelle b2b 4 disc ultra sweet edition of gu029. since i cant listen to them both at the same time, that might just be the next best thing.

Personally would enjoy a Van M, Cusick!!!, or Sander K mix but can't see it happening

Sander K has a new mix CD with Lee Burridge coming out in November and Sean Cusick is lined up for a Bedrock Original Series disc.

Well, from all the people who´ve released something through GU, Anthony Pappa seems to be the one who´s been quieter lately.

It´s obvious that this series needs some new blood though. I agree that Fanciulli now has a big enough profile to do it, but he can´t just release 2 comps in a row, so he might be in for GU30, but not for 29.

That´s a name I´d like to see, but I´d also like to hear a James Holden GU. Reports of his latest sets are very good, including a friend of mine who saw him at Sonar in Barcelona and he supposedly blew everyone else away.
