Welcome back everyone! It's been a couple of weeks since I've updated the downloads but I gurantee that it was worth the wait. Not only did you get some extra time to download some truely amazing sets recently, but this week you're slapped in the face with 4 more awesome mixes.
First up is none other than Sharon Schael who's a relatively new addition to the MercurySessions lineup with her show 'Der Schall' which broadcasts every 4th Wednesday of the month at 10am EST. From the moment she landed on our station I've been glued to her show. The music she brings is thought-provoking and quirky and she blends everything seemlessly. After hearing this month's show, I contacted Sharon who was more than happy to allow us to host the mix. We're hosting Part 1 of the full 2 hours this week and Part 2 will be next week, so give it a shot, leave some feedback, and make sure to tune in to 'Der Schall' next month because you're guaranteed more of the same high quality stuff.
Sharon's guest this week was one of the most brilliant tech DJs/producers of all time. John Tejada's name should be familiar to everyone unless you're from the moon. In one word, John's mix is just downright dirty. I've not heard anything from him that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed and this set is no different.
The next mix was one I wanted to share a couple of weeks ago but due to our conversion to the new site, I didn't get to put it up as quickly as I'd hoped. Faisal from Frisky Radio passed along Rick Pier O'Neil's featured artist mix that was originally broadcast at the end of August and I immediately gave it a listen. Man, this stuff is some dark ass tribal. Scratching and clawing all the way through, Rick fuses energetic basslines with the perfect amount of euphoric melodies. I can't thank Faisal enough for sending this one over as it had been since Rick was a guest on Digweed's show since I've heard his stuff.
Lastly is our very own Gustavo Di Tomaso with a mix he recently completed called "Es Ingenuo Pero Suma" which means...um...who am I kidding, I don't know Spanish. I know the word 'but' is in there. Anyway, the man needs no introduction around these parts but in fairness to him I will tell you that I have no idea where he gets his music, but man is it good. Why everyone can't play the music that Gustavo throws out there is beyond me. Keep up the great work mate!

Sharon Schael
www.undress-records.com
www.galaktikarecords.com
Passionate about music, in its very primal sense, as a little girl she would take apart sound systems, loud speakers and other devices that emitted sound. Growing up in Caracas, Venezuela she was surrounded by a family of artist that promoted creativity, from literature to music, and has followed that path throughout her education and in life, with a formal education in art history and moving to music as her art medium of choice, to create and share with the world.
With the arrival of rave culture to Venezuela in the 90s, Sharon becomes actively involved in the electronic dance music movement. At the time the prevalent sound captures and divides the masses into hard-techno and latin-house. But Sharon has never been one to follow the masses. Unsatisfied with the mainstream sound and always interested in listening to new sounds and experimental forms, Sharon's love for music has been a continual evolutionary process that pushes the boundaries, breaking the mold and reaching for atmospheres charged with deep emotion and energy, traversing the genres of house to techno, from dub to the clicks of minimal electronica that paint the canvas of today's electronic dance music.
3 years ago she decides to move to Guadalajara, México, where she lives for a period of 6 months to later move to Cancún and becomes part of the local scene, and at the national level coordinating the editorial of an electronic music magazine: [In The] Groove.
Now Sharon resides in Madrid, Spain, continuing her efforts for [In The] Groove, taking part into the collective Galaktika Records and working on music production project with her partner Andrés Criado a.k.a Gauss Control for his label, Undress Records.
Also she hosts der Schall, a monthly radio show every 4th Wednesday, from 10:00 till 12:00 EST, offering insight into the most recent sound in the electronic music world on the internet radio station: Eccentric Beats.

John Tejada
www.paletterecordings.com
Normally associated with his peers in Techno from Detroit, Europe and elsewhere in the US and the world, John Tejada has embraced electronic music as a personal frontier, expanding on his formidable resume as a Techno recording artist as producer and remixer, DJ, and label owner. With dozens of singles, remixes, some film and TV work and contributions to sample CDs to his credit, this recent expansion has born a slew of tracks deeply informed by his uncompromised aesthetic honed over years of diligent production which finds its roots in Detroit Techno but references a far broader range of music, both in and outside of electronic music. His musically formative years were steeped in Classical music, growing up in family of performing artists--his mother a soprano singer and his father a conductor which then widened to include hip hop, DJing and finally, electronic music.
Known for crafting a brand of subtle, musical techno, his recorded output ranges across tempo and genre lines, from chilled out affairs with spacious arrangements to pulsating, densely layered, deeply energetic tracks that work magnificently in the hands of DJs as well as on the home stereo. Earlier on, his music found release on labels such as A13, Multiplex and Generation R&S. Following on to those successes, he established his own imprint, Palette, in Los Angeles, in 1996, and has enjoyed seven years of steady growth and recognition. The label has served as an exclusive outlet for his own prodigious output but has recently begun to expand its roster. He has also continued to record for other labels such as Plug Research, Seventh City, Moods and Grooves, deFocus, Sino and others, often in collaboration with 12 year long collaborator Arian Leviste, and alongside these numerous singles, has also produced eight albums; two for A13, Palette and one each for deFocus, Plug Research, Moods and Grooves and Playhouse.

Gustavo Di Tomaso
Gustavo started to get into house music in 91/92 listening to Carlos Alfonsin, resident at El Cielo. Having Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed and Martín Garcia as main influences ,his love for house has grown stronger and moved to deepprogressive house, breakz and progressive. His performances are rich in these sounds generating a very armonius and interesting atmosphere..
His sets are plenty of edits( taylor made for his own sets, inspired in Hernán Cattaneo and Martin García ). Those little slight subtle changes in some popular tracks, made his work a difference, remarking his concern for details working on preparing material with great technique, programming and interactivity.
Gustavo has played in both little bars for 150 pp as well as venues like La Vieja Usina in Cordoba for over 6.000 fillin in for John Graham ( aka Quivver ) after a BABASONICOS concert. In 1999 he started playing chill out and deep house music in one of the highest quality lougnes in Buenos Aires, El Gran Danzon. Afterwards, he became the resident at ANT, other lounge where he shared the honor of playing with Carlos Ranalli, Cristóbal Paz and Facu Carri. He appeared at CREAMFIELDS in 2001 in the GANCIA chill out tent closing the arena after Cristóbal Paz. In 2002 he played twice as a guest at Mint, after that event and due to his father’s illness he took a year off, playing eventually in private parties. He recently finished up second in a contest done by www.mercurypromote.com
He´s currently resident on thursdays in Jacko’s Bar in Palermo Soho and in events named Silence. Reciently played a warm up for Martin Garcia in Middawn Club (Haedo)
